Keep your wallet full and have some fun with these free things to do in Arizona.

Learn how to be safe in the water. This water safety event is happening at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 9am until 12pm.

It is free to the public at the Hole-in-the-Wall River Ranch Water Park. They will have singing firefighters, plus water safety songs and activities.

An ambulance and fire truck will be on display, too. This event will have a rescue demonstration and of course water safety tips. So learn and have fun for free!

It is still hot outside here in the Valley, so get your kids cooled down and having fun playing in the water. The City of Phoenix has many Valley parks and shopping centers that offer water play areas for your kids.

The best part about these water play areas is that they are for free. If you have kids that might not know how to swim, you don't have to worry because these water play areas have the water squirting at you like splash pads, pop jet fountains or spray parks, so no pools of water. Of course kids still need to be supervised.
