The weather is spectacular and the weekend is near so find out what things you can do for free here in the Valley.
If you work in the field of law enforcement, fighting fires or military you can get the living daylights scared out of you for free.
The Panic Park is offering folks who work in these fields free admission into their haunted houses from now until October 31st. All you have to do is be able to show official ID that you work in any of those three fields. No paycheck stubs or other forms of Id will be accepted.
If you haven’t heard of The Panic Park, it offers three extreme haunted houses plus one haunted house that caters to kids 10 years and younger. Plus you can see a live stunt show and a lot more.
The Panic Park is located in Scottsdale at the Pavilions, near Indian Bend and Pima roads, where the old Talking Stick use to be located, behind Target.
Take your kids to pick out a free pumpkin at Desert Botanical Gardens. Their Great Pumpkin Festival includes a free hay ride to their pumpkin patch, activities and country and western entertainment.
There is one tiny catch in order to get all of this for free; each person must pay for a Garden admission. It cost $18 for one adult admission, $10 for students ages 13 to 18 and kids 3 to 12 just $8.
Or you can try and check out a Culture Pass from one of our public libraries each pass will get two adults into the garden for free. The Pumpkin Festival is on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am until 3pm.

Adults if you want to celebrate Halloween head over to the Crescent Ballroom in downtown Phoenix. They are going to have live music like Night Jewel, Pastries with teeth and more. The festivities will start at 9pm. You can get in for free only if you dress up in a Halloween costume if you don’t you will have to pay $10.
