Don't sit on the couch bored because you don't have cash to go out.
I found a site that can save you lots of money on comedy shows, concerts, even sporting events.
It's a site called goldstar.com , and you can get up to half off tickets for all sorts of events.
Here's how it works.
First you have to sign up for an account, which is free.
Choose the city where you'd like to get tickets and you'll get a daily email with discounted ticket prices.
Plus, you can search for tickets anywhere you want.
Cirque du Soleil is going to be in New York in March.
The regular cost for price level three is $66, including fees, but at goldstar.com, the discounted price is $46.25. Add in fees, and you'll pay $54.25, more than a $10 savings.
Jekyll & Hyde is playing in Los Angeles through March 3rd.
Regular cost for the seats we chose is $93.65, including fees. You'll pay almost half that price if you buy the tickets at goldstar.com, $50.50 for seats in the same area.
Obviously, you won't find tickets to all of your favorite events, but it's definitely worth checking before you spend your cash.
So get off the couch and have a good time for cheap.
