It's hot out there, but don't let that stop you from enjoying some free events around the Valley.
Discover how Cerreta's candy is made. The Cerreta candy factory is located in the heart of downtown Glendale. They offer free tours of the factory Monday through Friday. The first tour is at 10 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m. and the tours last about 30 minutes.
You can just stop in during those times. You don't need to call for reservations unless you are going with a group of 30 or more. If you want a treat after the tour, you can buy some of their chocolates, nuts or yummy popcorn, because there's a store right inside the factory.
