The Arizona State Fair is in town until Nov. 3 and there is so much to do and of course eat.
But the price can really break the bank unless you know the right time to go.
Show up to the fair on Thursdays between noon and 1 p.m. and get FREE admission.
That will save you $10 per adult.
If you're shopping at Fry's and spend $40, save your receipt because at the bottom of the receipt you'll find a discount for two free adult admissions for any Friday.
Give a charitable donation and you won’t have to pay admission on Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m.
If you’d prefer to go to the fair on the weekend, make sure to get there before 2 p.m. because admission is just $2 but you have to get there before 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Get the kids reading and they will be rewarded at the fair.
If they read three books, they get three free carnival rides.
If three rides aren't enough, head over to the fair on Wednesdays because rides and games are just $2.
Parking on the fairgrounds costs just as much as regular admission.
But if you park in the lot right across the street, at the southwest corner of 19th Avenue and Encanto, you'll pay just $5.
Check out the Arizona State Fair’s website for more discounts.
