Here's way to sweeten up your next shindig. A candy buffet adds a unique twist to your everyday party.
Brandy Blackford, owner of Sweet I Do's says "A true candy buffet is more than just a pretty jar filled with a bag of candy from the grocery store. It takes the right jar, holding the right type and amount of candy, with all of the details to tie the look into the rest of the event."
Blackford explains how to put together a successful candy buffet:
1. Order enough candy for visual appeal not for a specific quantity per person.
2. Keep in mind the time of year and location of the event. Arizona is hot and gummy, taffy and chocolate items have a tendency to melt.
3. The details (containers, labels, décor, etc.) are just as important as the candy selection to ensure a gorgeous display.
Top candy choices for guest appeal:
1. Gumballs
2. Mints
3. Licorice
4. Gummy Rings
5. Chocolate
