When an Arizona Biltmore guest in the late 1930s maybe early 1940s wanted something cool and refreshing to sip poolside, bartender Gene Sulit took the challenge and created a cocktail that would soon be world famous.

It was the Tequila Sunrise, a little different from the one you may know now but still tasty and full of color.

The Arizona Biltmore has three styles to choose from, all refreshing and a pleasant way to unwind after a long day or just sitting around with friends.

Even better, you can stop by The Wright Bar at the Arizona Biltmore and let the friendly mixologists create these history-making cocktails while soaking up the history of Arizona’s Grand Dame.

  • The Biltmore Original: Hornets Plata, Crème de Cassis, fresh lime juice and club soda
  • The Classic: Sauza Gold Tequila, fresh orange juice, and a splash of Grenadine
  • The Tropical: Tequila, pineapple juice, and Pama pomegranate liqueur.
