Whether you are looking to brighten your table for spring or create a special decoration for Easter, one thing remains the same according to Cheryl Najafi of CherylStyle, you don't have to spend a lot of time or energy.
Cheryl likes to create simple and elegant decorations, so there is more time to spend with family.
Some of her suggestions include hollowing out an egg, and decorating it, using a napkin ring as a stand to keep it from rolling off the table. Or creating papier mache vases or luminaries, by wrapping a balloon, and popping it after the material dries. To create a vase, Cheryl says you can simply place a mason jar inside it, for the luminaries, of course add a candle.
Instead of fighting to find a place to put your food on the table, Cheryl suggests making it part of the display. She says you can easily do this by pulling out your cupcake display stand, and using small metal Jello molds to hold a small portion of food.
You can find more easy and creative entertaining ideas on CherylStyle.com and in her soon to be released book 'You're So Invited'.
