Fall is my favorite time of year and once it hits August, I'm all about revamping my wardrobe for the upcoming season. Thankfully, our stores are full of amazing extras that help you take items you already have in your closet to the next level.
A black skirt and a white tank: what woman doesn't own those two items? Here, we've created three different looks based on these two essentials.
Wear to work: a flouncy tiered skirt goes professional when paired with a black wool blazer ( Banana Republic at Kierland Commons ). Add in another feminine detail with a mixed metallic layered necklace and throw it back to the masculine side with a pair of patent oxfords ( Stuart Weitzman at Biltmore Fashion Park ).
Casual day out: don't be afraid to mix your colors! This black skirt becomes that much more interesting when paired with a tan leopard print cardi and a brown chain-adorned belt cinches it all together for the ultimate in waist-defining fashion (Banana Republic). Bring it all back together with quilted embellished black flats (Stuart Weitzman).
Dress it up: a paper bag skirt is one of the best ways to go girlie. Add strands and strands of chain necklaces, big bold bangles and a black clutch and out you go!
