It's hard to believe that after nearly 4 years the massive "Re-Imagineering" and expansion of Disney California Adventure is now finally complete, which means … Cars Land is now open!
Disney also just opened the all-new main entrance into Disney California Adventure with a charming tribute to the Los Angeles of the 1920's and 30's with Buena Vista Street and the impressive Carthay Circle Theatre.
The crown jewel of this expansion project is the 12 acre addition of Cars Land where the Disney/Pixar movie Cars literally comes off the screen and into real life! Featuring 3 new attractions - Luigi's Flying Tires, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Radiator Springs Racers.
The summer of 2012 will be the summer of Disney California Adventure as part of a broader story that the Disneyland Resort is a vacation destination that is full of fantasy, excitement and awe-inspiring experiences for the whole family.
