Bill Johnson is a name that has been associated with Valley pride and down home cookin’ since the 1950s.
His cowboy style mixed with his showbiz personality has made Big Apple Restaurants a destination for delicious steaks, ribs, and deserts.
The Johnson family tradition continues to this day with recipes passed on from Gene Johnson, who passed away January of 2010.
Her from-scratch recipes haven’t changed, big portions for a good price and a full belly are still the norm.
The staff, which is the back bone to the success of the Big Apple, serves the vittles with a smile and six shooters blazing. It's an act Bill Johnson would be proud of.
The Valley has grown a lot since the 1950s but the charm, comfort, and quality of Bill Johnson’s Big Apple Restaurants will continue to indulge the appetites of the hungry with homemade satisfaction and friendly service.
