Relationship Expert, Medora, is sharing some of her "man-catching" recipes below.  Let us know if any proposals come out of it.

7 LAYER SALAD
Serves 12 - 14
In a large salad or glass bowl, in this order, layer:
1.    1 6 ounce bag of your favorite salad mix.
2.    1 bunch of green onion, chopped
3.    3 large or 4 medium ripe tomatoes, seeded and diced
4.    1 can of pinto beans, drained
5.    1 cup of creamy Italian dressing
6.    2 cups of shredded, sharp cheddar cheese
7.    2 cups of crushed Fritos corn chips

To serve, use salad tongs and dig deep down to the bottom of the bowl and pull straight up - salad isn't salad if all you eat is Fritos and cheese! As the cook/chef, do this for those you are serving at least the first few times - explaining that you have to get to the bottom to enjoy the experience of the whole salad

CREAMY ITALIAN DRESSING
1 packet of Italian salad dressing mix
2 TBSP. sugar
3 TBSP. apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together until completely mixed. Refrigerate until ready to use.

PINEAPPLE CAKE

Pre-heat oven to 350°

Spray an oblong pan (9 X 13) with cooking spray.

Place 1 cup of pecans (either whole or chopped) on a cookie sheet and let toast for 8 minutes in the 350° oven.  Remove from oven and set aside.

Sift together in a large mixing bowl:

    1 ½ cups sugar
    2 cups flour
    2 tsps. soda
    ½ tsp. salt

Stir in:

    ½ cup brown sugar
1 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple in its own juice
    2 eggs, slightly beaten

Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the top of the batter with:

    ½ cup of brown sugar

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove from oven.  Immediately after removing cake, sprinkle with the top with the toasted pecans and begin preparing the icing.

ICING

    6 TBSP. butter
    ¾ cup sugar
Small can of evaporated milk (5 ounces)

Mix all ingredients in a medium- sized saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  Remove from heat and immediately spoon over cake.
