In the new show, Chris will show the transformation process of clients he refers to as 'super obese' with a body mass index of more than 50% of their weight.
Chris Powell says the the birth of the show came after he helped his client, David Smith, lose 401 pounds in 26 months with a natural program.
After Smith's success, other clients from across the country started asking for help with similar body and life transformations.
As part of the new ABC show, Chris will profile obese clients from across the country in a documentary-style series. Viewers will watch as Chris teaches them about nutrition, work-outs and also addresses the emotional component that contributed to their obesity.
The transformations take place over the course of a year and have resulted in hundreds of pounds lost. In many cases, Chris moves into the homes of his clients to help offer the support to make the transformations.
The married father of two is also working on a weight loss and fitness book to be published in October.
The show debuts Monday, May 30th at 9pm on ABC15-TV.
