Great tropical drinks to relax and sip

Spring training is here, and the temperatures are just starting to warm up enough that most of us are getting spring fever.

Before too long we'll be breaking out the shorts and flip flops and wondering where winter went.

When that happens you'll want to kick back on the patio and sip on a cocktail with friends.

When you're in the mood try these tropical drink recipes provided by Dan Mule, the Owner and General Manager of Hula's Modern Tiki .

TROPICAL ITCH

A Classic '50's era tiki cocktail..with a kick, don't let seven years go by before you scratch this itch. Passions reach a fever pitch when combined with three liquors. You ho ho, you can just feel the palm fronds tickle their way into your soul. No worries, we've got you covered, with a backscratcher as a stirrer, after all you've scratched our back we'll scratch yours.

1 oz Passion Fruit Puree
1/2 oz Jim Beam
1/2 oz Cruzan Light
1/2 oz 151 Rum
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz Whaler Dark (Float-Shaken)
*Fill with equal parts Pineapple, Orange & Cranberry Juices
*Shake until frothy, and pour into Small Hurricane Glass
*Insert Back Scratcher

JUAN HO

1.5 oz tequila
.5 oz blue curacao
.5 oz lime juice
.5 oz orgeat
.5 oz velvet falernum
*Lime wedge garnish, shake well, serve up in a martini glass
