El Dia de los Ninos hosted by Phoenix Parks and Recreation. A festival celebrating children of Arizona of all cultural backgrounds. Over 50 booths will be there with games, activities, entertainment, giveaways and a variety of fun for the whole family. Free. 9am-1pm.
My Nana's Salsa Challenge
Tempe / Tempe Beach Park
The My Nana's Salsa Challenge is a day-long festival featuring the #1 condiment in the U.S. - SALSA! Amateurs and professionals compete for the judge's vote while attendees enjoyed all the chips and salsa they could eat! Kids can also enjoy a day of fun at the event's FUNZONE, featuring interactive games for the entire family including multiple bounce houses, a bungee run, and other fun activities. 11am-6pm.
April Pools Day!
Scottsdale / El Dorado Aquatic and Fitness Center
No fooling, let's keep our kids safe around water. The goal is to educate children and families to prevent drowning. Features include raffles, food and prizes as well as exhibits and water safety demonstrations. 1-4pm.
