Fashion's Night Out: A day honoring the art of shopping

Fashionistas listen up, if you are a slave to style, you need to be a part of Fashion's Night Out.

This global event was created 3 years ago in New York by American Vogue to lift people's spirits after Sept. 11, and has now captured the hearts and wallets of Arizonans and shoppers everywhere.

Various Arizona shopping centers will be taking part in the event which will be held from 6- 9 p.m. Thursday Sept. 8, 2011.

This chic celebration will be held at Biltmore Fashion Park, Chandler Fashion Center, Kierland Commons. La Encantada in Tucson and Scottsdale Fashion Square.

According to Alison Goodman, stylist at Kierland Commons , during Fashion's Night out you will find discounts, trunk shows, fashion shows, gifts with purchase and appetizers. This celebration is a day any avid shopper has circled on their calendar because it has so many exculsive promotions to offer.

Some stores participating in the party are 7 For All Mankind, Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Michael Kors, J. Crew, Juicy Couture, White House | Black Market and many more.
