Arizona Parenting Magazine has some free family fun weekend events

After Dark in the Park
June 30th
Phoenix / Deer Valley Park
Bring a picnic basket or enjoy cuisine from some of the local food vendors. Music and air jumps will be available for the kids. The event will end with a fireworks display at 8:45pm. All ages. 7-9pm. Free.

Simulated Space Mission
July 1st
Peoria / Challenger Space Center
Stop by for the opportunity to fly a simulated space mission, involving flight crews, mission controller and scientists. Ages 3rd grade and up, 3rd and 4th graders must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. 1-3pm. 19.50 - 22.50. Registration required.

Get Your Gnome On!
July 1st
Valley Wide / As You Wish Pottery
Paint your own Traveling Gnome, take it on vacation with you and snap a photo. Upload it to the AS You Wish Facebook page and post where you are to receive a free Family Fun Pass ($25 value).  All ages. Call for pricing.
