Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, will be celebrated next week by many in the Hispanic community, but if you've ever wanted to learn more about it, there is an event you can go to that'll teach you all about it.
The first annual CALA Alliance Dia de los Muertos Festival will be held Sunday, October 28th at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix.
The festival is free to the public.
There will also be a mask-making workshop at the Phoenix Public Library at 1pm that Sunday, led by local Artist Emily Costello for children ages 5-12. At 3pm there will be a Children's Procession into the festival.
