Ombre is a hot trend in fashion this season and will extend into summer as well.
Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica, goes over how to easily do it yourself rather than spending a lot of cash to get the look.
Garment (cotton or rayon work best)
Spray bottle of water
Small bowl of water
8" wide paintbrush
Tulip One-Step Dye (found at craft stores)
Pre-wash your garment and leave damp. Set your tablecover on a large flat area, set down the shirt. Mix the dye according to package directions. Squirt a line along the bottom or top of the garment. Dip your brush in water and begin to drag the paint across the fabric. Use the spray bottle to blend the colors so there are no lines. Repeat the process until you achieve the look you want!
