A family research class at Arizona State University inspired a student to make a documentary film.
Yvette Johnson is co-producer of "Booker's Place: A Mississippi Story."
The film is free to view Thursday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts.
It's located at 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway and will be a part of ASU's Project Humanities fall 2012 kick-off.
