Are you ready to enjoy the outdoors as we head into fall?
Amanda Rumore, online editor and Valley specialist with AZ Foothills.com says there are plenty of places around the Valley to enjoy the cooler weather.
"We're approaching one of the busiest times in the Valley! Everyone loves fall, especially as summer temperatures fade away," she said.
Here are some ideas from Rumore:
BRAT HAUS HOSTS OKTOBERFEST
It's a new spot that opened in Scottsdale. It has been receiving rave reviews for delicious and unique food, great atmosphere, and being family friendly.
This weekend starting Sept. 22, they're hosting Oktoberfest. Enjoy beers, brats, and music as you revel in the traditional German eats, enjoy free beers, and enter to win giveaways hosted by the Haus.
This will be a 16-day party!
RHYTHM AND WINE ON PINNACLE PEAK
It's not only known for terrific Italian American fare and an innovative cocktail menu, but they keep their calendar filled with fun events great for families and/or adults, like Beatles and Bottles, live music and $20 prime rib dinners.
They have just added Bow Wow Happy Hours on Sunday afternoons. You and your pup can enjoy one of the best patios in town. They also have an event on Sept. 27: Italian Wine Dinner.
GOLD PARTY HOSTED BY CHARISMA CARPENTER
The highlighted party of the month is the GOLD Party, hosted by Charisma Carpenter.
It's on Sept. 29 at the W Scottsdale. Tickets are $25. This event will be fun and for a great cause. It's for the Ronan Thompson Foundation.
Music by DJ MOM JEANS, Silent Auction by Charity Benefits Unlimited and more fun!
STAYCATION AT BOULDERS RESORT
Rumore's staycation pick of the month is the Boulders resort. One of the original Valley resorts, the Boulders is in Carefree, so it tends to be a bit cooler than other parts of the Valley.
You can really maximize the feelings of fall.
For the rest of September, they have a few events including the Boulders Wine Dinner and the first ever AZ Honey Festival.
The resort is very family friendly but also great for a romantic getaway. They also treat pets like royalty. Rumore said her pups had so much fun.
Palo Verde, their signature restaurant, also has great food, according to Rumore.
Golden Door Spa is also award-winning and they have some creative services that other local resorts don't offer, such as memory enhancement, acupuncture, lip readings and chakra balancing.
