Summer-inspired cocktail recipes from Carefree Station

Thea Sommers from Carefree Station prepares refreshing cocktail recipes for summer entertaining.

Here are some recipes:

Cool as a Cucumber  
3 cucumber slices
1 ounce agave nectar
1.5 ounces Hendricks Gin
Splash of soda
In a shaker, muddle cucumbers, add agave, gin, soda, and ice. Shake and pour into a bucket glass.

Chocolate Cherry Pie Martini
6 Bing Cherries
2.5 ounces cocoa powder infused vodka
1 ounce simple syrup
In a small separate container, add 1 tsp of high grade cocoa powder to every 2.5 ounces of vodka. Let cocoa powder/vodka mixture sit for at least 15 minutes for flavors to infuse. In a shaker, muddle cherries, add vodka, simple syrup and ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass.  

Hula Jito (Tropical Mojito)
1 ounce berry puree
1 ounce pineapple puree
1.5 ounce silver rum
Splash soda
Splash pineapple juice
3 mint leaves
In a shaker, muddle mint, add purees, rum, soda, pineapple juice and ice. Shake and pour into a tall glass.
