The next time you go out, Posh and Crudo Restaurants in Scottsdale are encouraging you to not order "the usual".

The Summer Passport program at the two restaurants is urging its patrons to stray from the regular items and try something new. They have created a 78-ingredient list, with three items for every letter of the alphabet, with the hopes of increasing the amount of adventure in their diner's palette.

The items range from very adventurous (eel) to just a little bit adventurous (purple potatoes) and diners can earn points and enjoy discounts for trying items on the list.

The prizes include a full-tasting dinner with wine for four and six course dinners for two with wine at either of the two restaurants and runs through Sept. 14.

The passport costs five bucks, and the proceeds go to singletonmoms.org , which helps single parents battling cancer.

You can find out more about the program by going to their website, www.poshscottsdale.com/summer-passport .  Both restaurants will post tips, hints and the availability of the more exotic ingredients via Twitter and Facebook .
