From elegant to super simple, you can showcase your pictures and keepsakes in box to hang on the wall.

We spend hours preserving photos of special events, but why not do the same with other items that mean something special to us?

This project makes a great gift for someone or can be a great way to showcase special mementos from an important event in your life.

Craft Supplies:

  •     Shadow or memory box
  •     Fabric for background
  •     Heavy card stock to re-enforce flimsy items
  •     Bubble wrap to create depth. I like it because it's lightweight. You can use whatever you have.
  •     Scissors
  •     Memorabilia

Project Instructions:

Lay your fabric on the background, but don't glue it down yet.

Lay out your items on the fabric and decide what needs to be flat and what needs to pop. At this time you will see what might need to be re-enforced, too.

Once you figure all of that out you can start by attaching the pop outs under the fabric to the background.
Glue all of your pieces to the fabric.

Before you attach it to the frame stand it up to make sure everything is secure.
