Arizona Parenting Magazine has some family fun events to check out this weekend.

Moonlight Hike
July 27th
Cave Creek / Cave Creek Regional Park
Join the mysterious adventure and enter the Clay Mine at night. This will be an easy 1 mile hike. Bring water and flashlight. Helmets will be supplied.  Free. All ages. 7:30 - 9:30. Meet at group campground.
 
7th Annual Shootout on Whiskey Row

July 28th and 29th
Prescott / Cortez Street (between Gurley and Goodwin
This event is the largest 1800’s re-enactment in Arizona. The old west will come alive and there will be many entertainers and vendors at this event. All ages.  9am-4pm.
 
Kids First Hockey/Skate
July 28th
Scottsdale / Ice Den
Tanner’s Kids program is an introductory program for children ages 4-12 interested in learning o skate and try hockey basics. Participants receive: (3) 45 min. on-ice sessions, a Tanner’s Kids hockey jersey, use of hockey equipment, use of skates and a $50 voucher for Ice Den Skating Programs. Space is limited and is restricted to children who have not participated in previous skating/hockey programs.
