Come enjoy the 2nd Annual Verde Valley Fall Festival at Arizona's Jackpot Ranch October 19 thru the 21.
The festival started last year with the simple idea of having a fun family fall place to go.
There are thousands of pumpkins, hay rides, wine tasting, beer, live music, vendors, a kid's zone with games, bouncies and face painting.
After promoting the event to the Verde Valley schools, some radio air time, plus Groupon and Living Social featuring our event, there have been nearly 10,000 festival goers.
The festival was founded to support at-risk youth and medically challenged youth attending camp at Jackpot Ranch.
Jackpot Ranch partners with over 20+ statewide youth nonprofits providing camp at no cost to the children or their families.
Last year over 1,100 medically challenged children and at risk youth attend camp at Jackpot Ranch. This is the work and vision of ranch owner Garry Shuster.
As a very poor 8-year-old boy growing up in Canada, an anonymous donor paid for him to spend a week at camp. He describes this wonderful 'camp week' as the very best of his childhood.
This year they are continuing with the hay rides, pumpkins, beer, wine tasting, live music from bands Aces n Eights, Los Guys, Tramps & Thieves Hans Olson (to name a few). Plus we have added a large carnival, midway, live auction, vendors and more. We are expecting 20,000 to 30,000 festival goers this year.
Jackpot Ranch is a beautiful 72 acre property with large ponds, fountains, gazebo, state-of-the-art bunkhouse and is located right off Interstate 17. Our sponsors include Cliff Castle Casino Hotel, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Blue Moon, Verde Valley Newspapers, Family Circle Radio including KNOT, KAFF, Hits 106 and 93.9.
