Dress up with these fall fashions on a budget

Devy Walker shows us fall fashions on a budget.

"Some key pieces this fall would be a straight skirt with a tailored shirt or fitted top or sweater is the way to go this season," said Walker.

Walker suggests to "be open to the possibility of alterations. Any size looks great in a skirt if you taper the bottom so it just doesn't hang there.

The other important step is to plan on choosing three different style tops to wear with it and a jacket.  These pieces can transform your wardrobe at home and give you plenty of diversity.

"Look through your favorite magazines and tear out pictures of pieces you like," said Walker. "Now, put all those pictures in a book and take it to the resale store and start looking. You will naturally be directed to the colors, items and accessories you are craving. You can find a lot of different items that have the original  tags on them,including shoes and purses that were never used."

You can always let someone else do the shopping for you.  Walker said, "You can hire a personal shopper like myself, to do the searching for you.  I will take you shopping, suggest and pin alterations for you, find accessories and make your shopping experience delightful, while saving you a ton of money.  Most personal shoppers like myself, work on an hourly fee, which is covered 10 times over by amount of money and quality of the goods you acquire!"
