We all have our favorite scoop of ice cream, but how about a Valley spot that lets your taste buds explore a culinary explosion of flavors?
That shop is Sweet Republic in Scottsdale and the idea since 2008 has been to mix art and science with the blank canvas of ice cream. The end result is artesian ice cream and the flavors can range from sweet corn to salted butter caramel.
The flavors change with the seasons, like pumpkin spice, but also stay true to classics like Madagascar vanilla and Belgian chocolate.
Everything is handmade with fresh ingredients down to the marshmallows that top the Campfire S'more sundae.
Sweet Republic is a tasty celebrity, too. TIME Magazine, U.S. News & World Report plus Alton Brown from the Food Network has declared Sweet Republic some of the tastiest ice cream in America.
