Studies show more than 13 million children in America will be bullied this year, and that's why a Valley university wants to train young workers to be able to work with kids who might be victims of bullying.

Grand Canyon University's Youth Ministry program hopes to prepare a new breed of youth workers who are ready to address the needs of bullied kids.

The program's curriculum is focused on adolescent development and hard-hitting issues such as violence, eating disorders, depression, suicide and crisis management.

You can learn more about the program on Grand Canyon University's website .
