PHOENIX - Want to add a new member to your family? There's a chance for you to adopt a pet this weekend in the Valley.
Starting Friday, PetSmart stores in the Phoenix area are hosting 2012’s first National Adoption Weekend.
All pet adoptions will benefit thousands of animal welfare organizations.
Adoption centers will be set up inside any PetSmart store through Sunday.
The hours:
Friday, February 10: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, February 11: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday, February 12: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Last year, similar events led to more than 66,000 adoptions across the country.
