PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - A 10-year-old dog that was unable to walk has recovered from surgery and is back on his feet thanks to donations from the public.

Lincoln, a purebred beagle, was adopted back in January and it was discovered that his front left foot had been crushed and required amputation according to Ella Hess of United Animal Friends.

While recuperating from that surgery, he began to lose function in his right back leg and it was dicovered through X-rays that he had torn his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL).

Lincoln was carried everywhere by hand until his ACL surgery on May 21.

Hess said Lincoln is now using his right back leg again and will be back to 100% soon, and that his owner is grateful for the generous donations which made the surgery possible.
