Contrary to the opinion that a sissy exists under the pompadour, Poodles are courageous, not wimpy. Wilson is certainly a good example, and the 3-year-old  was brave enough to endure weeks on the streets until he was finally rescued and brought to AHS by a Good Samaritan.

This athletic boy is 20-pounds of energy and he is always seeking thrills- not frills. He likes to start the morning with a game of fetch and he would enjoy a brisk walk around the park in the evening as long as the weather isn't too hot. When he isn't chasing after a flying yellow tennis ball he is happy to gnaw on a chew bone while you work on the computer.

He is a happy dog who seems to always be smiling and his bobbed tail wiggles with excitement when he meets new people. He is good with dogs but a dog and child introduction is recommended to ensure a good match.

He is just one of nearly 80 dogs that are looking for a forever home. Wilson is available NOW at the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations, a colorful leash and collar with an AHS ID tag and a free follow-up veterinary exam.
