Pet of the Week - Sheila

With captivating green eyes and a gray coat embellished with silver stripes, it's surprising that Sheila has been overlooked by potential adopters since April 4th.

The 2-year-old tabby is the perfect housecat for someone looking for a quiet cuddly companion. It isn't uncommon to see Sheila perched on a step midway down the staircase, posing charmingly while gazing at her owner with those soft green eyes.

When she proceeds to emit a soft meow that's her owner's cue to get up off the couch and dole out a piece or two of her favorite dried fish treats. She loves to be close to those she loves most and will join her owner in the lazy boy chair for an evening of sitcoms and the latest news.

She hopes to find an owner who will happily pamper her for the next 10-12 years. Sheila enjoys a peaceful and serene environment and would prefer to be the one and only pet in her new home.

She is available NOW at the Sunnyslope facility located at 13th avenue and Hatcher in Phoenix. Now until the end of August all feline adoption fees will be waived in exchange for a monetary donation.  Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery and vaccines.
