Kramer has had a rough life and his suffering only became worse when he was abandoned and left behind to starve. After being called to the scene by Phoenix Police, EAMTs found the thin, malnourished and injured American Pit bull terrier mix in the yard alone and Kramer greeted them with a weak tail wag which was about he could muster.
With every reason to ignore people, if not fear them, this now healthy and happy-go-lucky doggy greets everyone affectionately with kisses, a swift tail wag and an ear to ear grin on his face. He loves to play and he will bounce around the yard with a rope toy in his mouth. Since arriving at the shelter, Kramer has learned a few of the basic commands including "sit" and "down" and he has also learned to walk well on a leash.
With his difficult past behind him he is ready to embrace a new life. Luxury is a bowl of food and a dog bed. Kindness is a daily walk or a game of fetch. Love is curling up on beside a human to be petted. Kramer will need a patient family to supply all of that and more.
He is available NOW at the Campus for Compassion located at 15th Avenue and Dobbins in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $35 since he is a member of the "Hopeful Hearts" club and he has been looking fo a home since March 4th. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x 1045 and ask for Animal ID number A387268.
