When Dina was found roaming the streets of Chandler in January, it was clear that she had been well taken care of and very well socialized. Despite a concerted effort to find her missing family, the Good Samaritan who captured this loving canine had to give up the search and turn the affectionate dog over to the Arizona Humane Society.
Clever and incredibly smart, Dina has already proven to be a quick study and not only is she leash and housetrained but she knows ALL the basic commands like the back of her paw. The animated, happy-go-lucky American Pit bull terrier has been looking for a new home for over a month and she hopes to find one with a nice backyard and active human companions. A few of her favorite things are Kong toys, long walks and a large assortment of dog toys (emphasis on "large" as her favorite hobby is removing the squeaker).
She is great with other rowdy dogs but must find a home without birds, small critters or cat. She is good with children but a family introduction is required at the time of adoption.
She is available NOW at the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $35 since she is a member of the Lonely Hearts club. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, a colorful leash and collar with an AHS I.D. tag and a free follow-up veterinary exam as well. For more information please call 602-997-7585 x 1045 and ask for animal ID number A378312.
