Iams pet food company issued a recall this week for certain dry dog food and cat food products sold under the Iams and Eukanuba brands.
"Although to date, no health effects have been reported, there is the potential for Salmonella contamination," the company said on its website.
Iams said all retailers have been notified of the affected products and should be removing the products from their shelves.
The recall includes a variety of bag sizes ranging from 2.9-pound bags to 30-pound bags of food.
To find out if your bag is included in the recall, you will need to check both the product description and lot code. To learn how to check your product and see the full list of recalled items, click here: http://tinyurl.com/lzyd289
