PHOENIX - Eddie LOVES to play… a lot! But his energy was too much so for his previous owners who may have tired of the games of fetch or the daily walks Eddie loved so much. This 1-year-old hopes to settle with a family who appreciates his spirit and enjoys hiking and camping (Eddie’s never met a body of water that he didn’t want to plunge into). He would be the perfect jogging partner and certainly is an incentive for his owner to stay in shape. Eddie is already leash trained and he knows “sit,” “wait” and “drop-it” but this clever canine is ambitious and eager to please so teaching him more advanced tricks is definitely possible.

Eddie does well with most dogs but a canine meet and greet is required if you already have a dog at home. He may be a little to lively for toddlers but he adores older children who are capable of tossing a tennis ball across the yard for him to fetch.

Eddie is available NOW at the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Rd in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $110 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x 1045 and ask for animal ID number A417429 or visit www.azhumane.org .
