TEMPE, AZ - Now you can eat, sleep, and play, all while staying "green." A hotel in the East Valley is being acknowledged for its dedication to going green.
Aloft Tempe has been awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Aloft saves water and optimizes energy throughout the building. There are rooms that do not power up until occupied. The rooms also have blackout shades and recycled materials. The roof is foam insulated and painted with reflective paint to reduce heat. The laundry room uses a third less water than most hotels, and you can opt out of housekeeping and reuse the towels.
Aloft Hotel Tempe is the only LEED Certified hotel in Arizona.
