Thin mints and Samoas just days away

PHOENIX - Lovers of Thin Mints, Samoas and other Girl Scout cookie favorites have only a few more days before they can tear open a box.

Warehouses full of the seasonal treats were carted off by Scout troops over the weekend and sent to the four corners of the state for sale beginning Friday.

Those savvy enough to buy a box in advance can expect them to begin showing up sooner.

Other just have to look for the booths set up at stores around the state by girls working the group's major yearly fundraiser.

If you can't go hit-and-miss with your Do-si-dos, trying using the Scout's handy cookie locator web site .

Arizona Scouts have more than 2.1 million boxes of cookies to sell, so there should be plenty.
