SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Last weekend, Scottsdale’s Talking Stick Resort opened its doors to what’s called Arizona’s top fashion industry event, Phoenix Fashion Week.
Fashion Week launched its 7th annual collection of fashion shows with the Fashionably Pink Fashion Show at the Musical Instrument Museum. Breast cancer survivors and Valley celebrities gathered to model in this charity event to help support Susan G. Komen for the Cure Phoenix.
Back at Talking Stick, models took to the open-air runway donning the work of both emerging and established designers.
In addition to high-fashion runway shows, the event boasted educational seminars, a design scholarship and style villa marketplace.
The event’s organizers say that the goal of Phoenix Fashion Week is to present Arizona as a major player in the world of fashion.
