PHOENIX - Move over Wii, now senior citizens are getting into the virtual gaming game with the first of its kind technology in the Valley.
It's called OmniVR, and right now, the Life Care Center of Scottsdale is the only place you can find it locally.
It doesn't require the player to hold a remote control, instead a camera above the monitor captures the person's movements.
Life Care uses the device to help seniors with their rehab, helping increase mobility, stability and memory.
It's not only fun, but in several cases across the country where the games are used, are shortening a senior's recovery time from injury or stroke.
