I love taking pictures and making photo albums, but keeping track of all it can be quite a handful.
There are many programs out there that charge money to do this, but with this Smart Family How To, I’m going to show you how to do it for free.
Google has a free program called Picasa that keeps track of all the photos on your computer. Not only is it free, but it’s super easy to use. You can sort your pictures by date, name, or even by the people in the shots.
Along with organizing your pictures, Picasa allows you to edit them. Whether it is fixing a red eye, color, lighting, or effects, Picasa can do it. You can create collages, add photo texts, or even make video slideshows complete with music and captions!
You can also share your pictures and videos with anyone on the web! Show your pictures to family and friends in full quality. Picasa allows you to integrate it with other Google programs like Google Maps to pinpoint exactly where your pictures were taken.
Using Picasa, I transform from a Smart Shopper to photo-editing genius. It’s amazing to think what the real Picasso would have done with this program!
