Summer means time off, and time off means a little "getaway" here and there!

However, travel at any length can be stressful if you don't plan ahead or prepare things before you lift off.

Yet, for most people, just meeting work deadlines and getting family duties in order can be as exhausting as the packing.

Image Expert Jeane B. has compiled tips on making this vacation a true getaway from routines, hassle, and over-packing!

1. Think about rolling your clothing to save space and ironing time!

2. Put on that summer glow and lush long eyelashes before you hit the pool!

Here is Jeane B's list of clothing items to pack for up to a two week trip, in one carry-on bag! Jeane adds that over packing, combined with folded clothing, takes up far too much space and causes unnecessary wrinkling.

Tightly rolling everything will help to avoid this.

· 3 pairs of shorts
· 3 pairs of business or evening pants
· 1 skirt, 1 additional pants or 1 additional shorts
· 3 pairs of casual pants or jeans
· 1 pajamas
· 2 bras and 2 pairs undies
· 3 swimsuits
· a pool cover up
· 3 lightweight sweaters or cardigans
· 4 simple dresses
· 10 casual tops
· 6 evening tops
· a clutch for day or night
· toiletries in a medium size pouch ( you can buy the rest when you get there)
· 2 pairs of shoes (one flat, one sandal)

To begin this process, get out all the clothing in the list above and lay it out on the bed or floor.

Roll everything up in tight little rolls and set aside in a little pile. Then start packing, putting your shoes in first.

Shoes go in along all the edges of the interior of your bag, and then put in the next heaviest item which will be your jeans and other bottoms.

Again, always wear your heaviest shoes and clothing on your travel day to free up space in your bag.

PACK TIGHTLY! Every corner in the bag can be filled with SOMETHING!

Just continue packing from there with shorts, tops, pjs, and dresses, with the lingerie, toiletries and clutch on the top of the bag.

Here are a few more items to use before and during:

1. Pack IBEX separates made of climate-friendly, tropical weight natural fiber knits for ease, comfort and space-friendly packability

2. Do a self tan at home with the "goof proof" Kymaro sunless tanning system for an effortless "glow" throughout your trip

3. Try Kymaro "do it yourself" at home "lash extensions" and "hair mascara"! Make mornings about exploring and not beauty routines

4. NARS cosmetics sheer multipurpose colour beauty for lips/eyes/cheeks make getting ready effortless!

5. Replenish travel tired and flight dehydrated skin with Decleor natural oils and botanicals for a perfect complexion
