There is no better way to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month than by eating and drinking scrumptious treats around the Valley.

Arizona is giving to breast cancer charities by offering special meals and deals at local restaurants according to Susie Timm, with Foodies Like Us .

Timm suggests that you make a stop at these local eateries for a bite to eat and to give back:

· Ra Sushi offers the One Hope Pink Roll for $15, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
· Ling and Louie's has the 'Save 2nd Base' promotion that includes cocktails and dishes that support Susan G. Komen.
· Flemings Prime Steakhouse is concocting the '99 Calorie Stoli Bombshell cocktail,' and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.

Timm offers these suggestions if you want to enjoy delicious food without dining out.

· Mrs. Renfro's Salsa launched a 'pink lid' campaign, which benefits several different national charities when you buy a salsa with a hot pink lid.
· M5 Corporation , a gourmet food importer, is donating 5 percent of all October sales to the Young Survivor Coalition.
· Cookies From Home has a special pink ribbon breast cancer awareness tin that donates 10 percent of the proceeds to Breast Cancer Research Foundation when purchased.

Looking to make your own Stoli Bombshell? Follow this simple recipe.

1 ¼ oz Stoli Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
½ oz Sugar Free Simple Syrup (using Splenda)
½ oz Sugar Free Raspberry Preserve

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry.

To make Sugar Free Raspberry Preserve, cook 2 lbs raspberries (fresh or frozen) and 1 cup fresh orange juice for about five minutes. Add 1 cup Splenda and heat until it starts to thicken. Strain to remove seeds and pulp. Cool and store.

Giving back has never been so much fun!
