'The List' names former Fox Chicago News anchor Jan Jeffcoat as co-anchor

PHOENIX - One of ABC’s newest programs, “The List” is welcoming a seasoned broadcast journalist to the team.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Fox Chicago News anchor Jan Jeffcoat will be making her way to Phoenix as co-anchor of the locally produced news magazine show this fall.

Jeffcoat has been with the Chicago station for five years, but announced her departure decision on July 27.

Her announcement date also marked her last day as the station’s noon anchor.

Reports say that "The List" hasn't formerly stated she will be co-anchor, but according to her, she's ready for her new position!

“The List” will be a daily show discussing inspiring and interesting stories, blending news and pop culture.

The show will incorporate journalists, video bloggers and content experts to discuss national and local stories.

“The List” will air on ABC15 at 4:30 p.m. starting in September.
