PHOENIX - Star Wars Episode VII developers may have chosen the film's writer, according to CinemaBlend.com .
The website reported that Michael Arndt, who wrote Toy Story 3 and Little Miss Sunshine, is the frontrunner for the job.
According to CinemaBlend.com, Arndt is likely be at least one of the writers when they begin shooting the movie in 2014, but it's not clear if he will be the sole writer.
The website reported that this will be the first Star Wars film not written or co-written by George Lucas since The Empire Strikes Back.
The studio is reportedly interested in having Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford return, but no deals have yet been made.
