Star Wars Episode 7 details, release date: Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia, wants to be in new movie

Carrie Fisher wants in on a new Star Wars movie, according to TMZ Wednesday.

The actress, who played Princess Leia in the past movies, reportedly said she’d accept a role in “Episode 7.”

TMZ said the new movie would follow “Return of the Jedi” so an older Leia would work.

Disney bought LucasFilm for $4.05 billion last week.
