NEW YORK - ‘Good Morning America’ co-host Robin Roberts let her viewers know Thursday that she was readmitted into the hospital this week.
She posted on Facebook in the morning, saying she didn’t feel well during her Key West vacation and has to fight off “opportunistic infections.”
Roberts said they’re not severe, and it’s not because she has been working too much, too soon.
“It’s extremely common, post bone marrow transplant, to have complications,” she wrote.
Roberts added that her heart goes out to Boston after the deadly bombings on Monday. And it saddens her to not be with her GMA family to cover the story.
She said she hopes to be back on the air next week.
"I'm feeling MUCH better, and will relax at home for the rest of the week," Roberts wrote.
She returned to the GMA anchor desk at the beginning of February after being away for five months, recovering from MDS.
