NEW YORK - Katie Couric is back to daily television Monday with her new talk show “Katie” and begins with an interview with singer Jessica Simpson.
Simpson will be on “Katie” at 3 p.m. on ABC15 for her first TV interview since giving birth in May.
After having her first child, Simpson has been pressured to lose the weight she gained during pregnancy and has been on many magazine and tabloid covers.
Simpson and Couric will also discuss what it's like to juggle family life with her career and big fashion empire.
Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, who wrote and recorded the theme song for “Katie,” will also be on the show.
In upcoming shows, guests will include Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Susan Sarandon, Chelsea Handler, and Sofia Vergara, who’s from ABC’s “Modern Family.”
