PHOENIX - Four Phoenix guests were featured Friday on “Katie”, ABC’s afternoon talk show with host Katie Couric.
On the show Friday, Katie spent the entire hour discussing experiences of those who care for aging loved ones, show officials said.
The Bucket List Foundation founder Kimberly Iverson and her husband Kevin Berk, of Phoenix, will make an appearance on the show along with father and son John and Amos Baldwin, also of Phoenix, who received a helicopter ride from the foundation.
The Bucket List Foundation grants wishes and fills needs of terminally-ill seniors.
Officials said more than 42 million Americans are caring for aged loved ones, adding that Katie herself also cares for her 89-year-old mother with the help of her siblings.
Singer Amy Grant was on the show as well to share her experience caring for her two parents suffering from dementia.
The show airs weekdays at 3 p.m. on ABC 15.

It sounds like "American Idol" is far more interested in sticking with old friends than making new ones.
